Hi, my name is Capt. Jesse Register and I am fortunate enough to be living my dream… I am a Fly Fishing Guide. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved fishing. That passion grew exponentially when I discovered the sport of fly fishing.

On a day off with a good friend of mine, we scored some epic redfishing.

Growing up in Florida, and spending most of my time on the coast, developing a passion for the water came naturally. Summer time, as a kid, was spent at the beach. New Smyrna Beach, a small beachside town, only an hour away from Oralndo, was a special place to grow up.  Some of my earliest memories I can recall are of beach days with our family. Early on, I began entertaining the idea of guiding but life events pushed me in another direction. Eventually, that obsession and desire to be on the water couldn’t be suppressed. I left a corporate job, with a salary, expense account and benefits to be a fishing guide and I’ll tell you something…. I wouldn’t change it for anything.

If it were up to me, I’d guide 300 days a year. Unfortunately, I don’t guide 300 days a year yet, so I have some down time. When I’m not guiding my clients to Redfish or Tarpon, I’m enjoying all that Florida offers. On a typical day off, my son and I will be at the beach surfing or we are on the skiff doing some fishing. When I’m not on the water, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, tying flies and thinking about the next morning I’ll be dropping my skiff in to go fishing. I’m passionate about my job and would love the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge with you.
